How do I preview and download attachments in the inbox?

Select an attachment in a message to open the viewer without leaving the inbox:

• Images: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP
• Videos: MP4, WebM and MOV, where supported by your browser
• PDF documents

Use Previous file and Next file to move between attachments in the message. Select Download to save a file or Open original in a new tab to open it separately.

HEIC photos, ZIP archives, TXT/CSV files, Office and OpenDocument files, audio and EML emails do not have a preview. They appear with a file-type icon and must be downloaded to open. For security, these types are always downloaded rather than opened in the browser. If a video cannot play, the viewer shows "This video cannot be played in your browser"; download it to watch it.

Download links expire after a short period for security. If a link expires, select the attachment again to get a fresh link.
